Convent of Grand Orient of Poland

As regulation and tradition require, on the last weekend of November the Sisters and Brothers of the Grand Orient of Poland gathered for the annual Convent of our Order.

This year, for the first time in history, the Convent was held in the spectacular chambers of the Wieliczka Salt Mine near Kraków.
There, 130 meters below the surface, Brothers and Sisters deliberated, voted, and celebrated in true fraternal spirit.

During the XXIX Convent of the Grand Orient of Poland, nearly 200 Sisters and Brothers witnessed and celebrated the election of the new G∴O∴P∴ Grand Master, Brother Mateusz Komorowski of the Respectable Lodge Astrolabium.
At the same time, many warm words of gratitude were offered to Brother Stephane Lesieur, who has just completed his three-year term as Grand Master.

The ceremonial and celebratory conclusion of the Convent was graced by the presence of visitors from 13 foreign Orders representing 10 countries, lending additional splendour and depth to our gathering.

May the Light we shared continue to guide our work in the year ahead!
