After a short hiatus the Grand Orient Of Poland, together with the Sisters from the Grande Loge Féminine de France, has returned to the wonderful tradition of hosting an annual Family Rally.
This time we set base at the Centralny Ośrodek Sportu i Przygotowań Olimpijskich w Spale. In splendid atmosphere we explored the local monuments and landmarks and marvelled at the splendour of natural wonders.
The sisters from WŻLF prepared the traditional St. John’s Summer Works, and together with BB∴ and SS∴ from the Michał Tokarzewski-Karaszewicz Lodge, we symbolically bid farewell to winter and spring, welcoming sunny summer and its abundance. In the dignified Knight’s Hall of the Kazimierz Castle in Inowłodz, the Works had a singular character.
It’s worth noting that we met with immense sympathy and assistance from the Municipal Cultural Center Zamek in Inowłodz, private individuals, and COS Spala. Thanks to the “apronless” Sister, we admired the “Blue Springs” Reserve, and with the support of local guides, we explored the Romanesque Church of St. Giles in Inowłodz, the local curiosity “Groty Nagórzyckie,” the railway tunnel in Konewka, and the Cistercian Abbey in Sulejów. The Rally culminated in the form of a masonic “white table meeting” – this time a traditional bonfire full of laughter and joy. As a souvenir commemorating the rally, we received compasses with the motto “The journey is the goal.”
